BSC Nautical Science Course and Its Eligibility

Science is the field which highly impacts every zone of this world. And there’s one zone, which is although less notable, but is very well empowered by Science and Technology and that’s termed as the benevolent Merchant navy. Generally, this zone is all about maintaining transportation of goods from one place to another via sea medium. Merchant Navy holds different fields from technology to Management and from Safety to Hospitality. The most eminent zone, which manages the most is the Deck zone.


In order to get addressed at the Deck zone, a course in B.Sc Nautical Science Courses can be a favorable idea. This is a three year Bachelor level course which allows a candidate to become an acknowledged Deck officer. The candidates are taught the fundamentals of mathematics, information technology and physics altogether with practical elements of Nautical Technology, Ship Maintenance and precise cargo handling.

The eligibility for the Bsc Nautical Science course is that the candidate should be minimum done with 12th with an aggregate score of 60% and 50% in PCM and English respectively. Furthermore, a candidate has to appear in the appointed entrance exam, which is the IMU CET. The age criteria for this particular course is maximum 25 years.
